My Entrepreneurial journey and the reason I started THE CROFIT group

I think that I have always had an Entrepreneurial spirit even though I found what the word “Entrepreneur” means just about when I was 18 years old. I was raised in an artist’s family. Even though my father wasn’t an artist, I spent most of my childhood watching my uncle paints the landscapes of our countryside back in Bosnia. I also started to paint when I was 8 years old. I used to go with my uncle to these painting areas where he would paint all day. I painted alongside him. Some people would say to my uncle, “Hey Doc, your nephew is going to paint better than you one day.” People called him Doc because he used to wear his white robe while painting.

When I turn 12 years old, I wrote hip hop lyrics on paper and invented my own martial art moves ( back then I was obsessed with Bruce Lee and working out). I wrote everything down. I still have those writings stashed somewhere in my room in Bosnia.

So, I have always been creative and creating things was my way of getting into the flow. When I asked my father one day what the word Entrepreneur means, he didn’t know how to explain. He just said, “ the man who owns a business”. I thought, “Vow, how would be cool to own a business one day.”

Then, in my senior year of college ( in my early 20s), I started my Entrepreneurial journey. I started the business that helped students to cheat on math tests. I know, don’t blame me. I just found the need in the market ;) The thing was that student would give anything to pass college tests. Back in those days, it was “allowed” to have a mobile phone in the class. Of course, if you get caught, your mobile phone is taken away from you. That’s it. Some students were really skillful in cheating. I was very good at math so I served my customers through an internet connection and a mobile phone. I had so much business that I needed to hire other math wizards to help me with the workload. The business was booming for a while. Then it was time to move on.

After college, I started some other businesses that failed. But with each failure, I learned and kept going.

In the UK, 2 years ago I became a contractor operating through my own LIMITED company and learned accounting and dealing and negotiating with different agencies and clients.

In December of 2017, I started my new and the most challenging business so far, THE CROFIT GROUP. THE CROFIT group will be a house of Fitness brands. First, we will start with a superior online coaching experience provided by the biggest online community of Fitness professionals in the World that will help people to achieve their Fitness goals. That’s just a tip of the iceberg what will the brand create in the upcoming years. I am so excited and prepared for the tough and challenging road. This is a 20+ year project. It will test my Entrepreneurial acumen and patience like nothing before.

Now onto WHY?

If you want to ask me why I started this company, I will give you an answer. Because this is who I am. I am so passionate about Fitness and martial arts. If you combine Fitness and Creativity, add passion and hard work to that mix, guess what do you get. A business that has the potential to evolve in what one of the biggest in the World.

Take a look at our brand logo below. Put a vision of it in your mind.

I want to wrap this up with the quote by David Icke, “ When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see the real you, or what you have been conditioned to believe is you? The two are so, so different. One is an infinite consciousness capable of being and creating whatever it chooses, the other is an illusion imprisoned by its own perceived and programmed limitations.”

Create your future, my friends,

Don’t be afraid to try!

Until next time,

D.P
